Rules. Betting Options in Craps Game

The rules in a craps game are quite simple. The betting system for a craps game is also simple.

Craps Game Rules

Craps is played by “shooting” two dice past a given point on the table. The person who shoots the dice is called the “shooter”. The shooter will be changed either after each round or if he or she scores a 7. The order of direction for shooters is always clockwise. The next person to the right of the shooter then assumes the actions of a shooter. Before a shooter shoots he or she must place a bet on the “Pass” section or “Don’t Pass” section. Alternative names for these two sections are “Right” or “Wrong” bets or “Win” and “Don’t Win” bets. These names vary from casino to casino.

The shooter is offered the choice of two dice (normally clear to minimize cheating) by the “Stickman”. The stickman is similar to a referee. It is his or her job to see that fair and legal play is conducted at all times.
